Being a photographer you never know what you are going to come away with from session to session. Some times sessions don’t go as planned, and that’s ok. But even if things go unexpected we always come away with something precious! These two were just that! I could not get enough of those sweet baby cheeks, and brother, look at that little smile. SO CUTE! I was so glad that they came to see me.

This child is every photographers dream child..lol..Beautiful, loved having her picture taken, loves to laugh and smile, and she was up for anything. The perfect little model.  We had a fantastic time riding around on their land picking cute little shooting areas. It was fun to go out and explore. And I think as the time went by I have found myself a new BFF.  I look forward to seeing Tenzley and her family again!

I sure wish I had the energy of a 21 month old..lol.. To have the feeling of just being free. Little Milly is just that. Oh she was so sweet! I could just eat her up. And by the end of the session she was really attached to me. Don’t know if it had to do with the fact I was the one with the candy..lol.. But regardless I loved getting hugs from her. This was a really meaningful session to Milly’s mom. She grew up on the location and it meant a lot to have the session there. In which I think it turned out perfect. To me that is why I have such a passion for what I do. It’s about memories.. And when times passes us by it’s all we have left. Thank you Brandy for having me out to this beautiful place. I enjoyed it so much.

We had a great session with little Taylor. He came in wide eyed and bushy tailed..lol.. It took a little while to get him off to sleep but as always we did get him to drift off.. He had the biggest paci I have ever seen..lol.. And he always had a death grip on it.. His dad plays the drums and I was so excited to see they brought one in for the session.. It’s always an adventure with the newborns.. Thank you Mom and Dad from coming out!

I am just now seeing I did not blog this session. Shame on me, because it was a great one. Little Mylie is always so beautiful, and she has the biggest eyes I have ever seen. It was a hot session, but it was worth every minute and every bit of sweat. It had been a long while since I have been to the Botanical Gardens and I almost forgot how beautiful it is there. If you have never been… GO!  Thanks to Mom, Dad, and brother for coming out.. Look forward to see you all again!

It’s always good to have a backup plan..lol.. This was a fun filled session for sure. Twin 2 year olds and their 4 year old sister:) Some of the cutest kids I know.  We started in-studio which did not pan out all that well. So, we move to plan B which is OUTSIDE Session! Really sometimes it’s just easier for every one. They don’t feel so confined to one small space, they can explore, they can be more of themselves. You really get better smiles.. No fakey ones.. So, I think plan B should have been plan A, but who knew?..lol. By the end of the session all the tears were gone and we heard laughter..lol.. Got some really cute poses from big sister (that her Daddy taught her)..lol.. And we had a good time. I always look forward to this family.. Thank you Shelly and David for sharing this time with me..

Little Brantley was as sweet as can be. He came in asleep and left asleep just the way we want it. I think we got a slight grin in this picture which I love! Oh, and all that hair. I could not get over how much he had.. He was a joy to photograph and I know Grandmother is excited to see the gallery so off to work I go..lol..

Hello and welcome little Landon everyone. He is just so sweet. I was so excited to finally have a little boy to come and visit me for a change.  Mom and Dad were great and so patient. You really have to be with the newborn sessions, because the baby runs the show.. If they got to go, they go… If they get hungry, they eat. And if they sleep, you do everything you can to keep them asleep..lol..When Landon arrived he was nice and cozy in his car seat and that is when we got the last picture.. Then it was feeding time.. Then it was I think I will just hang out with you guys time..lol..In most cases sometimes it can take up to an hour getting the little one back to sleep (that’s a deep sleep) then we work fast on the bean bag. Which I have a new one (Newborn Nest) made special just for newborn photography. Each session is different and you never know what you will come away with. It’s very challenging but it always pays off in the end with beautiful pictures of those sweet moments that only last a short time. I want to thank Mom and Dad for coming out.

Little Rylie had to be one of the smallest newborns I have had yet! She was so tiny. At little over 5lbs. And she was 4 weeks old! She pretty much slept the whole time which was great. Mom and dad were so patient while they watched the session. I even got to love on her some and feed her a bottle. I love spending time with the new little ones.  She was so beautiful and was just the perfect little Auburn Angel.
